Blockade Runner Stern Line
This Stern Line gets its name from the Southern ships designed to outrun blockading vessels using their speed and stealth. Blockade runners were painted charcoal grey to blend in with the waters as well as the horizon. During the early years of the American Civil War, Charleston served as a major port for these elusive ships. Often traveling through the blockade at night, these ships had a high success rate.
Each of our nautical sunglass straps are made using high quality flat braided polypropylene rope, branded silicone end pieces, fine laser engraved leather, and solid brass rivets. Every single one is hand crafted in Charleston and made to withstand the elements. Our sunglass straps are machine washable and dryable. They air dry very quickly as well.
